A friend of mine is getting ready to throw a sweet 16 party for her daughter. I told her I would help her do whatever she needed done. We have been friends for many years and I still can’t believe her daughter is already going to be 16 years old.
My friend told me that she already found a place to have the party and reserved it. She said it was going to be at a local banquet hall and it’s a really nice place. She said she wanted to go shopping to get decorations and asked me if I wanted to go with her. I told her I would go and we found some really great decorations at a party store that is in town.
While we were shopping we talked about the food and drinks and how she wanted to do everything. I asked her if she thought about getting a sweet 16 dj for the party and she said she hadn’t thought about that. I told her I would help her find one and we could get the food ordered about a week before the party. She said that she was thinking about having it catered to make it easier.
I started searching for a DJ for the birthday party and asked around. I asked a few of my friends, but none of them knew any. I decided it would be the easiest to look on Facebook and ask there. I went there and asked and got several responses about DJs in the area. I asked for their phone numbers and started calling around. I asked them what they would charge and let them know what kind of party it was.
After I called them all, I called my friend to let her know what each one of the charged for the party. She said she was going to check them out before choosing the one for the party. I am glad I could offer my help to at least find a DJ and hopefully she can use one of the ones I found.
I am also going to help with setting up the party and all of the decorations. I told her I would help with the food and cleaning up afterwards too. She can’t wait to have this party and knows her daughter is going to love it.
